Western coast of Zakynthos

Last week my friend and I decided to go and explore a part of the island I had never been to before, the western coast of the Island in Zakynthos. We saw beautiful scenery as we drove through the mountains. The land is so vast over on the western side so you can drive for miles before arriving at the beautiful sea and beach bar. We stopped at Porto Roxa bay for a spot of sunbathing where they have a little beach bar. It’s not a sandy beach, There is a terrace in the rocks with loungers and umbrellas.

Then we went on to Porto Limnionas Bay, this is one of the most beautiful hidden places.  The Tavern here has two terraces with loungers and umbrellas, food and drinks if you are hungry.  You can just relax, chill out and unwind for the day, it is so peaceful and calming over this side of Zakynthos.

While we were over this side of Zakynthos we wanted to watch the sunset, as I had heard they have the best sunset on this side of the island.  We drove up to Kampi and went to the highest point to watch the sunset go down. The Taverna was called The Cross of Kampi, and Wow it was absolutely breathtaking.  The landscape was incredible and the sunset was unforgettable.
