Tsilivi
Tsilivi is one of the most famous beaches on Zakynthos. It is located on the east coast of the island, approximately 7 kilometres from Zante town.
It is a sandy beach.
They have sunbeds and sun loungers in front of all of the hotels, with most of the sun beds costing 3.50 each, or 2 beds for 7 euros with an umbrella. Not every hotel or beach bar has umbrellas, but most do.
There are a few lively beach bars that offer an entertaining atmosphere. There are also parts of the beach that are quiet, where you can lay your towel and just enjoy the sun.
The waters are shallow so great to sit in and just chat away to friends or family while keeping cool, as come the summer, it gets very hot and you might want chill in the sea. The sea is normally very calm, especially in the mornings. Sometimes, come the afternoon, the wind picks up a bit.
There are also many water sports you can try, like windsurfing, water skiing, banana boats, pedalos, jet skiing, paragliding and much more!
